CeeU matches you with someone who is online right now and shares your music taste. When you set up your profile, you pick your favorite genres and songs — that's your entire identity on CeeU. Our algorithm finds people with overlapping taste and connects you in a fully anonymous chat. The more specific your music choices, the deeper the match.

Yes, completely. When you match with someone, neither of you can see the other's name, photo, or any identifying information. You're matched purely on music taste. After 50 messages (or 15 with CeeU+), you can choose to reveal yourselves — but only if both of you agree. Until then, you're entirely anonymous.

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the CeeU app. This is permanent and irreversible. All your data — including music preferences, chat history, coins, and subscription status — will be deleted within 30 days. If you have an active CeeU+ subscription, make sure to cancel it through the App Store first.

After both users agree to reveal, you'll see each other's display name and profile photo (if set). If both users save the chat, full profiles are unlocked — including music stats, bio, and social links if provided. The chat continues normally, just no longer anonymous. You can also choose not to reveal and keep chatting anonymously.

Coins are CeeU's virtual currency. You earn them by matching with people, maintaining chat streaks, completing the Daily Music Pulse quiz, sharing the app, and through special events. You can spend coins on Super Match (priority placement in the queue), reactivating expired chats, and other in-app boosts. CeeU+ members earn 2x coins on all activities.

CeeU+ is CeeU's premium subscription. It gives you: priority matching (shorter wait times), reveal at 15 messages instead of 50, unlimited active matches, 2x coin earnings, no ads, a daily super match boost, an exclusive badge, and the ability to reactivate expired chats. It's available at €1.99/week or €4.99/month.

CeeU matches you with people who are online right now — not from a database of profiles. If you can't find a match, it usually means nobody with similar taste is online at this moment. Try these tips: match during evening hours (7 PM–1 AM) when most users are active, broaden your genre selection slightly, or join a Vibe Room — they're designed to bring people with similar taste together in real-time sessions.

In any chat, tap the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top right corner and select "Report." Choose the reason (harassment, spam, inappropriate content, etc.) and submit. Our trust & safety team reviews all reports within 24 hours. You can also block a user from the same menu — this immediately ends the chat and prevents future matches with that person.

Vibe Rooms are genre-themed rooms where you can match with people who share a specific music taste. Instead of matching broadly, you join a room like "Midnight Vibes" or "Hip-Hop" and get connected with someone in that room. It's a great way to find deeper connections with people who are into the same niche as you. New rooms are added weekly.
